My name is Katelyn Carpenter and I’d like to share my journey to opening Wag & Walk Pet Care Services LLC!

I knew relatively early that school and a mainstream career was not going to be my path. My love and appreciation for animals well exceeded any academic calling. After giving college a try to be sure, I left and started pursuing fields in the animal care service.

For the next 5 years, I would gain knowledge and explore working in grooming, doggie day cares, a luxury pet boarding resort in New York, and a local pet sitting service in Hershey, PA. Although I loved it all, financially I had to go in another direction for my full-time income. I always had a hope that one day I could return to my truest love and create something wonderful in the pet service industry!

I’ve been a part of the Elizabethtown community now for the last 5 years and I finally feel I have found the right home to launch this business! My only incentive is that I want your pets to be taken care of the right way and to match your expectations of care! I know personally, there is no larger priority when leaving my pets behind than having someone I trust to show them love, compassion, patience, and the necessary space to feel safe.

I couldn’t be more excited to start this adventure and hopefully become that person you can trust with your fur kids!
